James Charles "Chuck" Wezensky, 49, died October 10, 2013 at his home surrounded by his family. Chuck was a Supervisor with more than 30 years at Newport News Shipbuilding. He was a member of St. Therese Catholic Church. Chuck enjoyed many hobbies including hunting, fishing and playing golf, and he loved being outdoors. He was an avid fan of the Alabama College Football Team. Chuck will be missed by everyone who knew him.
He is survived by his wife, Julie Wezensky; children, Jamie Lynn Wezensky, James Bryant Wezensky, Heather Hope Goodman and Jonathan Richard MacDonald; father, James A. Wezensky and wife, Carol; mother, Annette Boucher Keatts brothers, Roger W. Collins, Robert Wezensky, Michael Wezensky, and Kevin Griffin; a special cousin, Sarah Whitman and husband, Brian; and a host of nieces, nephews and friends.
A Service of Christian Liturgy officiated by Reverend James Cowles will be held 11 a.m. Monday, October 14, 2013 at St. Therese Catholic Church, 6262 Main Street, Gloucester, Va 23061. Inurnment will be private. The family will receive friends Sunday, October 13, 2013 from 7 until 8:30 p.m. at Hogg Funeral Home, Gloucester Point.
In Chuck's memory contributions may be given to Bread for Life, 6262 Main Street, Gloucester, VA 23061.
