Nellie Lee Crosby, 72, died March 9, 2014 with family at her side. Nellie was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother who loved her family, especially her grandchildren and great grandchildren. She loved flowers and working in her flower gardens. She will be missed and always remembered by all who knew her.
She was preceded in death by father, John B. Jenkins; mother, Mary L. Smith Furgerson; brother, Joseph S. Jenkins; and daughter, Dorothy L. Harris.
She is survived by husband, William L. Crosby, Sr.; children, Ernest L. Musick, Jr. (Paula), Debra A. Horn (Arthur), Mary A. Finchum ( Ron), Barbara A. McDonald and William L. Crosby, Jr. (Jeanette); brothers, William D. Jenkins, Robert E. Jenkins and John B. Jenkins, Jr.; 12 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren.
A funeral service officiated by Deacon Darrell Moore will be held 11 a.m. Wednesday, March 12, 2014 at Windsor Gardens Mausoleum, Dutton, VA. The family will receive friends prior to the service on Wednesday from 10 until 11 a.m. at Windsor Gardens Mausoleum.
The family extends their appreciation and thanks to the Virginia Oncology staff and Dr. Booth for the loving care and support given to our mother.
