Love Emblem

Kate Jenkins Hall, 87, a lifelong resident of Gloucester passed away Thursday, October 2, 2014 at Riverside Walter Reed Hospital. Kate was a member of the former Church of God, now New Life Ministry. She was associated for many years with First Virginia Bank as a teller and loan officer. She enjoyed gardening, being on the water fishing, cooking for her family and was an avid reader. We will miss her with all our hearts and will always cherish the times we spent together. She was always there when we needed her and she never wanted others to go out of their way for her.
She was preceded in death by husband, Everett W. Hall; daughter, Lucy Marrocco; parents, Robert and Mary Jenkins; sisters, Venice Jenkins and Goldie May; brothers, Paul Jenkins, Curtis Jenkins, Robert Kenneth Jenkins and Berdette Jenkins.
She is survived by her son, Fred Sheron; grandson, Chris Green; great grandsons, Aaron Green and fiancée, Irene and Brandon Green; great great grandson, Aaron Green, Jr.; brother, Bernell Jenkins and sister, Stella Miante; and a host of nieces and nephews.
Funeral service officiated by Reverend Richard Whiteheart will be held 12 noon Tuesday, October 7, 2014 at Hogg Funeral Home, Gloucester Point. Interment will follow in Rosewell Memorial Garden Cemetery. The family will greet friends prior to the service on Tuesday from 11 until 12 noon at the funeral home.
In memory of our loved one, memorial contributions are welcomed and should be sent to the American Cancer Society, c/o Mrs. G. Edward Mowry, 7274 Joseph Lewis Road, Hayes, Va 23072.
